Hanging pictures or wall art makes an unpractical wall cosy and worthy to
stop and take a minute to look at.
I've tried it myself with my previous bedroom. The result was a wall full of
my favorite vacation & family pictures.
I love how this room incorporated the letter 'L' in each portrait.
Perhaps the 'L' for 'Love'?
This fancy staircase is a perfect example of how to use all that space
above the stairs. Instant cosiness.
It doesn't have to be a cluster of family photographs all at once.
This pastel blue room shows how a few paintings can give the same effect.
I love this antique desk with the gold-framed pictures.
Ideal for a study room of guest room.
A shoe painting for a ladies boudoir!
A sucker for stripes I am. This living room demonstrates that even a
textured wall paper can work with gallery paintings on the wall.
The shades of grey, black and white make this sitting area not too crowded,
yet easy on the eyes.
There's nothing like a pet to make you feel at home.
The owners decided to make their dog the star of this pink room!
And lastly, one of my favorite Horchow bedrooms:
this neutral heaven of a bedroom!

What a lovely varied selection. I especially like the wall above the staircase ( nice carpet too!) and the last neutral wall.

Always amuses me when I see a beautifully decorated room with a canine at the helm. Love it, makes for a lot of extra house-keeping but makes that house a home. Xx
Gorgeous ideas here-thanks for sharing them!
Best wishes,
