Because I already had done the drive along the PCH years ago, I knew that this was going to be one of the most memorable things of our trip.
Just look at the beautiful scenery from 'the lone cypress' here on pebble beach:
But before the drive on the PCH, we stayed for 2 days in Monterey.
Monterey is such a lovely small town with so much charm (& good food)

Then we drove from Monterey all the way to Los Angeles in one day, beginning our journey through Pebble Beach.
If you love real estate and golf, this is a paradise.
Just outside Pebble Beach & Monterey, you enter Big Sur, which is reall the start of the beautiful drive.
The views are breathtaking for hours on end.
We stopped a few times along the way.
I miss it already!
